SafetySafety Scout Privacy Policy
Safety Scout is a business tool that helps facility and safety managers photograph work areas, identify observable hazards, and request quotes for safety signage from SafetySign.com. This policy explains what the app and its web portal collect, why, and how to remove it.
What we collect

What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad networks, no cross-app tracking, and no sale of personal information.
- No analytics SDKs in the app. We do not read your contacts, location, or other photos beyond the ones you choose.
- Video walkthroughs are sampled into still frames on your device; audio is never uploaded or stored.
Who can see your data
Members of your company in Safety Scout see the same facilities, scans, requirements, and quotes. SafetySign.com / Brimar Industries staff see quote requests you submit, including the attached photos, in order to price and fulfill them. Service providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Anthropic (image analysis), Resend (email), and Apple (push notifications).
Retention and deletion
Your data stays until you remove it. You can delete individual scans and requirements in the app or portal at any time. Delete account in the app's Settings removes your account immediately; if you are the only member of a company, that company's facilities, scans, photos, requirements, and quote history are deleted with it. Quote requests already sent to SafetySign.com are retained by SafetySign as business records.
AI-generated content
Hazard findings and sign suggestions are generated by AI from the images you provide. They are advisory only and are not a compliance audit, an OSHA inspection, or professional safety advice.
Children
Safety Scout is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
