SafetySafety Scout Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Safety Scout app and web portal ("Safety Scout"), provided by Brimar Industries, LLC, the company behind SafetySign.com. By signing in you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where you create or join a company, that company.
What Safety Scout is
Safety Scout helps facility and safety managers photograph work areas, receive AI-generated suggestions for safety signage, keep a signage register, request quotes from SafetySign.com, and place orders for physical signs.
AI suggestions are advisory
Hazard findings, sign suggestions, standard citations, and placement guidance are generated automatically from the images you provide. They may be incomplete or wrong. They are not a compliance audit, an OSHA or other regulatory inspection, an engineering assessment, or professional safety advice, and they do not certify that a facility is compliant. You remain responsible for evaluating hazards, choosing signage, and complying with the laws and standards that apply to your facility.
Quotes and orders
Quotes are prepared by SafetySign.com staff and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Placing an order in Safety Scout is a purchase of physical goods from SafetySign.com and is governed by the SafetySign.com terms and conditions of sale, including pricing, taxes, shipping, returns, and payment terms. Payment is invoiced or collected by SafetySign.com outside the app; Safety Scout itself charges nothing.
Your account and content
- You must use a work email you control. Keep sign-in codes to yourself; anyone with a code for your email can act as you.
- You are responsible for the photos, video, and text you upload, and you confirm you have the right to capture and share them, including any people who appear in them.
- Members of your company see the same facilities, scans, requirements, quotes, and orders. Company owners control membership.
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings. See the privacy policy for what is kept and deleted.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to access other companies' data, probe or overload the service, or use Safety Scout to build a competing dataset or product. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and changes
Safety Scout is provided as is, and we may change or discontinue features. We will post changes to these terms here and update the effective date; continued use after a change is acceptance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brimar Industries and SafetySign.com are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated suggestions. Our total liability relating to Safety Scout is limited to the amount you paid SafetySign.com for goods ordered through it in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including with respect to the goods themselves, which carry the warranties stated in the SafetySign.com terms of sale.
